Terms & Conditions
The terms on which we provide our fine line tattoo courses. Last updated June 2026.
1. About us
These terms apply to courses booked with Manchester Fine Line Tattoo Academy, 155B Manchester Road, Manchester BL9 0TD. By booking a course you agree to these terms.
2. Booking and payment
A place is confirmed once we have acknowledged your booking and received your deposit or full payment. Where a deposit is taken, the balance is due before the course start date unless we agree otherwise in writing. Prices are as shown on the site at the time of booking.
3. Deposits, cancellations and refunds
Deposits secure your place and are non-refundable, as they cover preparation and materials reserved for you. If you need to move to a later date, please give us as much notice as possible and we will do our best to accommodate one transfer. If we cancel or reschedule a course, you may choose an alternative date or a full refund of amounts paid.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to attend. Our beginner courses require no prior experience. You are responsible for arranging any models you are asked to bring and for ensuring they consent and are eligible to be tattooed.
5. Health and safety
We teach to recognised hygiene standards, including Infection Prevention & Control Level 2. You agree to follow all safety instructions during the course. Please tell us in advance of any health condition that may affect your participation.
6. Certification and licensing
On completion you receive a CPD accredited certificate. Completing a course does not by itself authorise you to tattoo professionally; you are responsible for obtaining any local council registration or licence required in your area, which we will explain during the course.
7. Intellectual property
Course materials, including our manual and resources, are provided for your personal learning and may not be copied, resold or redistributed.
8. Liability
We take reasonable care in delivering our courses. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
