Frequently asked
Your questions, answered
Everything you might want to know before booking a fine line tattoo course with us in Manchester. Still unsure? Just ask.
Do I need any tattooing experience to take a fine line course?
No. Both our courses are designed for complete beginners. We start from the absolute fundamentals: machines, needles, hygiene and linework, and build up to tattooing on real skin. Already an artist? You're very welcome too, and we'll tailor the focus to push your fine line work further.
Are your fine line tattoo courses accredited?
Yes. Both the 4-day and 2-day courses are CPD accredited, and every course includes a recognised Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Level 2 module covering hygiene, cross-contamination and safe practice. You'll receive a CPD accredited certificate of completion.
What's the difference between the 4-day and 2-day course?
The 4-day course is our complete training: it covers everything in more depth, includes more hands-on practice and a supervised live model session, and comes with a starter kit to take home, and it's £850. The 2-day course is a faster, more intensive route through the essentials at £600. Both are beginner-friendly, CPD accredited and include the IPC Level 2 module.
Where in Manchester are your tattoo courses held?
All of our courses are taught in person at our studio in Manchester. The exact address, plus parking and transport details, are sent to you when you book. We're easy to reach from across Greater Manchester and the North West.
Will I tattoo on real skin during the course?
Yes. You'll practise extensively on synthetic skin first. On the 4-day course you'll then complete a supervised tattoo on a real, consenting model. It's the moment everything comes together.
Do I get a certificate, and can I work as a tattoo artist afterwards?
You'll receive a CPD accredited certificate of completion, plus your Infection Prevention & Control Level 2. To work professionally in the UK you'll also need to register with your local council for a tattoo licence. We cover exactly what's required and how to apply during the course.
How much do your fine line tattoo courses cost?
The 4-day Fine Line Tattoo Course is £850 and the 2-day Intensive is £600. Both include all equipment, a CPD accredited certificate and an Infection Prevention & Control Level 2 module. Payment plans are available, just ask.
What's included in the course price?
All machines, needles and consumables are provided throughout, along with the IPC Level 2 module and your CPD accredited certificate. The 4-day course also includes a professional fine line starter kit to take home, a live model session, and lifetime access to our private artist community.
How do I book a place?
